NOTICE:

Massachusetts code updates are free for Retirees, Contractors, and Local 7 members who have worked for a signatory contractor within the past calendar year.

$65 for Local 7 members who have not worked for a signatroy contractor within the past calendar year.

There will be a $100 fee for any non Local 7 member to take our update.

Starting February 1, 2011 there will be a $25 fee for any duplicate certificate from the JATC office.
Please keep your course certificates in a safe place for 9 years.

MASSACHUSETTS 15 HOUR CODE UPDATE:

In an effort to accomodate our Brothers and Sisters that have retired and live out of the area a few months a year. The JATC is looking to see how many of you need an update during the summer months. If there is enough interest(over 25)we will put on an update this summer.
Please call the JATC office to let us know if you would take a summer update.

OSHA 10:

Western MassCOSH is conducting an OSHA-10 Construction Class on:
Monday, May 21, and Tuesday, May 22, 2012
8:00 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. each day
IBEW Local 7 Union Hall.
Attendance on both days is mandatory as required by OSHA.
This OSHA-10 training is fee for service and the cost is $55.00 per person.

NFPA 70E ARC FLASH/FAULT PROTECTION CLASS:

Saturday June 9, 2012 8:00AM to 2:30P.M.

If you are interested in this class please call the JATC office and get you rname on the list. The class will be scheduled when we get 20 people so pass this along to your co-workers.

ENERGY AUDIT CLASS:

If you are interested in an energy audit class please call the JATC office to sign up. A class will be put on when I have 15 names.

CONFINED SPACE AWARENESS COURSE:

Local 7 JATC is considering putting on a confined space awareness course. This will count towards your extra 6 for your Mass license. Please call the JATC office 737-2253 if you are interested. the class will be scheduled when 20 people are signed up.

CPR COURSE:

A CPR class is being planned call the JATC office to sign up. When we get 16 names we will put on a class.

This class also open to family members.

HIGH VOLTAGE SPLICING COURSE:

This course will cover the latest techniques in splicing cables up to 15K volts.
If you are interested in this course please call the JATC office and have your name added to the list of interested members. A class will be scheduled when the list hits 15 people.

If you are interested in a photovoltaic course please call the JATC office. This will be a 40 hour course.
